Just a credit Card glitch??

Well, the Alaska Air points came, 50,000 of them in all for 2 credit cards, but in the heat of it all, we never activated the cards by using them.  So, in short, it appears as though one might actually obtain the Alaska Air points without the $75 charge!  That's 2 free return trips anywhere in North America... Sweet Deal!
